Winning Artist at the Fabrika Open Exhibition!
So, it's probably very sad I've gotten so excited about this, but it really was great! When you do art like I do, you become used to 'proper' art galleries turning you away, telling you your work isn't 'proper' art, or you're not a real artist because you don't try to copy Tracey Emin or other such morons. So the fact normal people wondered into the gallery and chose to vote for my painting Lightning Bolt really has left me feeling very happy. And a little giddy haha.

2010 Exhibition line up- so far...
So guys, I have made it back to England! Via smelly koalas, surfing incidents and many sand-in-pants days. Awesome.
So this year I have managed to get my booty into four exhibitions so far- I am currently exhibiting in Fabrika Gallery in Leicester as part of an Open Submission Exhibition, in July I'll be part of the Drawgasmic Art show in St Louis, USA. In August I'll be hosted another solo show in Victoria Hall in Oakham (along with a Live Art show- more details soon!) and in December I'll have my own exhibition in Fabrika Gallery.
Melbourne Art Exhibition 2010 went BOOM!
So, I came all the way to Oz and had an art exhibition here in Melbourne in this awesome place called e-fifty-five in the CBD. And it rocked! I had to paint my little ass off to ensure I had enough stuff but I did it all from scratch and it looked so cool! Sold afew big pieces too which made me dead chuffed, always nice when someone sees your work and goes 'I like that, I'll give this Pomme afew hundred bucks and hang this on my wall'. Pretty rad :) Click here to see photos of my exhibition!
(Oh yeah, I also had one of my paintings stolen! First time that's ever happened, I guess I should make jokes about all Aussies being decendants of criminals anyway haha...)
The Artist on her Travels!
Hey guys! So I've been travelling around Australia since last April and have put together a few pictures in a new photo album. I've been through Victoria from Melbourne to Adelaide, driven up to Uluru, gone up the Westcoast and over to Queensland. Click here to go have a look at a few of my photos!

The Brief Return from Oz Art Exhibition
So, you're back for a few weeks for your sisters wedding. Hmm, what shall you do to possibly fill the time?! Perhaps have an exhibition in Oakham's Victoria Hall the day after the wedding?? Well, that's exactly what I did! And it was fantastic, I was so chuffed by the end. I also displayed in Melton's Point Blank Gallery too, and now have new pictures up in Exit Fashionwear and Flores Restaurant. Good use of time me thinks!
